SUNRISE-6G Demo: Next-Generation Network Management with OSS-GPT
In this video, we demonstrate next-generation network management using OSS-GPT, an AI-driven OSS system that enables users to manage infrastructure and services through natural language. We introduce how traditional OSS relies on structured API calls and formats like JSON and YAML, which are often complex for non-experts. OSS-GPT simplifies this by using multiple specialized LLM agents, i.e., an assistant, planner, executor, and reporter, to understand user intents, generate and execute the necessary API calls, and deliver results in natural language. The demo covers real-world examples, including querying infrastructure status, deleting instances, and deploying complex services like a 5G RAN monitoring xApp, showcasing how human intent is translated into automated network actions.

The project focuses on establishing and expanding an EU-wide experimental infrastructure for 6G, which will enable the validation of end-to-end 6G architecture. To promote European success in creating the 6G network, SUNRISE-6G has assembled a powerful consortium of 28 partners composed of key industry representatives and renowned scientists. This flagship project lays the foundation for next-generation network architecture and technology.
