SUNRISE-6G Project Presented as the Baseline for 6G-DALI
On February 20, 2025, during the 6G IA Technical Board face-to-face meeting in Kista, the SUNRISE-6G project was presented as the foundation for the initiative ‘6G-DALI’.
Kostas Ramantas (IQU), the Technical Manager of SUNRISE-6G, highlighted how the project’s concepts and achievements drive the vision and objectives of 6G-DALI.
SUNRISE-6G introduced AI federation as a key focus, enabling collaborative data collection and MLOps pipelines to support prediction, classification, and anomaly detection models applied to shared datasets across testbeds. The project also facilitated resource sharing by allowing testbeds to utilise computational capabilities, such as vGPUs, through an AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) approach.
This framework has proven to be an effective model for integration and collaboration, laying a strong foundation for 6G-DALI and its goals.
SUNRISE-6G’s role in influencing 6G-DALI highlights the value of its contributions to advancing technology and collaboration within the 6G research community.
