SUNRISE-6G Month 24 Plenary Meeting in Barcelona: Driving the Final-Year Momentum!!
The SUNRISE-6G partners met in Barcelona on 2–3 December 2025 for the Month 24 plenary meeting, hosted by our Technical Manager, IQU. All teams were present, sharing updates on the work done so far and agreeing on the project’s priorities for the final year.
During the 2 day meeting, partners presented the latest progress on the SUNRISE-6G Experimentation facility, the interoperability of the platforms, and the tools being built to support 6G experimentation. The groups also shared the current status of the testing environment, the preparation of the next software releases, and the results from the ongoing use cases, including the Metaverse scenario and the collaborative robots setup.
A big part of the discussions focused on what comes next. The final year will be dedicated to completing the integration of all components, finalizing the tests across the different sites, and making the full facility ready for experimenters. Communication, outreach, and the visibility of the project’s results will also be an important focus as we move toward the last phase.
The meeting helped the consortium align on the next steps and make sure everyone is working toward the same goals as SUNRISE-6G moves closer to its completion!
