SUNRISE-6G is celebrating a major milestone: our project has been selected as one of the Top-10 Key Achievements of 2025 by the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU).

This is an important recognition at the European level and places SUNRISE-6G among the most influential initiatives driving the journey toward 6G!

This achievement highlights the impact of our 6G Federated Portal for Experimentation, an open, web-based platform that connects 14 European 6G testbeds into one unified access point. With this Experimentation portal, developers, researchers, startups, and industry can experiment across borders through a single interface, without complex setups or barriers. It represents a real step forward for Europe’s open innovation vision, making 6G testing more accessible, more coordinated, and more future-ready!

The SNS JU received 188 submissions from projects across Europe, showcasing breakthroughs in technology development, experimentation, vertical trials, standards, and sustainability. Only 10 were selected, and SUNRISE-6G is proud to be one of them. This recognition reflects the dedication of our consortium partners and the value our work brings to Europe’s digital future.

This is a big moment for the SUNRISE-6G community, and we are excited to continue contributing to Europe’s leadership in next-generation connectivity.

The SNS JU just announced a public #webinar on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, presenting all Top-10 Achievements, along with access to the whole online repository of results.
