SUNRISE-6G Experimentation Portal Presented at Eindhoven University of Technology!
Yesterday, on 17 February 2026, Dr Arifur Rahman (IS-Wireless) delivered a short tutorial introducing the SUNRISE-6G experimentation portal at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), hosted in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The session, titled “SUstainable federatioN of Research Infrastructures for Scaling-up Experimentation in 6G”, highlighted the objectives and technological advancements of the SUNRISE-6G project.
During the presentation, Dr Rahman provided an overview of how SUNRISE-6G:
- Develops and validates key technologies for future 6G networks
- Enables structured experimentation through federated research infrastructures
- Performs functional testing in advanced laboratories
- Collects and analyses data through coordinated experimental frameworks
A key part of the session included live demonstrations of the SUNRISE-6G experimental portal, showcasing its capabilities and the functional tests dedicated to the project’s testbeds. The SUNRISE-6G Experimentation Portal can be accessed via the project’s website: https://sunrise6g.eu/portal/
The tutorial offered participants valuable insights into scalable experimentation methodologies and the importance of sustainable federation of research infrastructures in shaping the future 6G ecosystem.
SUNRISE-6G continues to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, fostering innovation and accelerating the path toward next-generation wireless systems.
