The SNS JU Technology Board recently published a game-changing white paper titled “AI/ML as a Key Enabler of 6G Networks: Methodology, Approach and AI-Mechanisms in the SNS JU.”

This white paper, created by the SNS JU Technology Board (TB), highlights the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in shaping the future of 6G networks. It showcases the collaborative efforts and innovative developments across SNS JU projects, including SUNRISE-6G.

The paper provides:

• An overview of ongoing projects within SNS JU.
• In-depth insights and statistics about AI/ML-based solutions developed within the initiative.
• Details on the goals of AI mechanisms, learning types and methods, targeted network segments, model characteristics, training datasets, and outputs of these mechanisms.

As part of this collective effort, SUNRISE-6G is proud to contribute to the advancement of AI/ML solutions in 6G. These developments aim to not only enhance understanding of AI’s role in 6G but also promote European innovation and foster synergies with global AI and 6G experts.
