The SUNRISE-6G project has just released its official video! A clear, visual look at how Europe is preparing for the next generation of wireless communication: 6G.

While many ideas about 6G exist, most still need to be tested in real-life settings. That’s where SUNRISE-6G comes in. The project offers open access to 14 high-tech testbeds across Europe, where researchers, developers, and industries can try out new 6G technologies. These testbeds include ground networks, satellites, and aerial systems, all connected under a single, federated platform.

The video shows what this looks like in action:

• People collaborating in virtual reality

• Rescue drones saving lives after natural disasters

• Robots improving safety in mining

• AI systems fixing network problems before they happen

• Tools that help boost signal strength and combine sensing with communication

It also highlights the project’s 6G Library for Experimenters, a modular toolkit that lets users test and develop future technologies quickly and easily.

With its unique approach, SUNRISE-6G is helping Europe take the lead in building smarter, more sustainable networks that can support the needs of people, industries, and society as a whole.
